This fall Story of the Year will embark on a tour to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their album 'Page Avenue' with support from special guests Four Years Strong (November 1 - November 19), We The King (January 5 - January 26) and Youth Fountain. With numerous beloved albums reaching their 20-year mark in 2023, 'Page Avenue' will be celebrated by Story of the Year as we reflect in the era's musical milestones.

The anticipation for this tour stems from Story of the Year's enduring popularity in the rock community. Their unique fusion of post-hardcore, emo, and punk rock genres turned 'Page Avenue' into an instant classic upon its initial release. Even after two decades, this epic album continues to resonate deeply with fans, evoking nostalgic memories of sign along anthems for those who grew up with its music.

Originally launched in 2003, Page Avenue quickly emerged as a trailblazer, selling over a million copies. Boasting memorable tracks such as 'Until The Day I Die,' 'Anthem of Our Dying Day,' 'Sidewalks,' and more, the album achieved impressive rankings, claiming the top spot on the Billboard US Heatseekers Albums and securing the 51st position on the Billboard 200 chart. Recognized for its impact, the album received Gold certification in April 2004, later achieving Platinum status in March 2021. This remarkable feat solidified Page Avenue as one of the pioneering post-hardcore albums to attain such prestigious milestones. 'Until The Day I Die' reached # 12 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, while 'Anthem Of Our Dying Day' peaked at # 10 on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart."

"Page Avenue holds a profound significance in numerous aspects,” reflects vocalist Dan Marsala. “It has grown to be the definitive Story of the Year album. An album that stills resonates with everyone today the way it did 20 years ago. An album that built an amazing career for a bunch of friends from St. Louis. When we were writing “Page Avenue”, we were just kids making music that we loved. We had no idea that 20 years later these songs would still mean so much to us and to millions of other people all around the world.”

“Page Avenue” was the soundtrack to so many people’s lives,” explained by guitarist Ryan Phillips. “We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this pivotal record by getting out there and performing it for all of our incredible fans.”

Story of the Year recently unveiled their highly anticipated sixth studio album, “Tear Me To Pieces” which is now available through SharpTone Records. Showcasing eleven fresh tracks, including earlier hits such as “Real Life”, “Tear Me To Pieces”, “Take The Ride”, “War”, and “2005”, this album distinctly embodies and captivates the essence of Story of the Year. Heartbreak, despair, determination, tumultuous relationships, anguish, bereavement, and fury — all the vital elements of the quintessential Story of the Year style propelling “Tear Me To Pieces” in thrilling and innovative ways."

Joining them on tour is an American pop-punk band from Worcester, Massachusetts, that formed in 2001 known as Four Year Strong. Consisting of vocalists/guitarists Dan O’Connor, Alan Day, bassist Joe Weiss, and drummer Jackson Massucco; the band’s sound can be described as a blend of pop punk and hardcore punk. Four Year Strong have released seven studio albums with their most recent album, “Brain Pain”, which was released on February 28, 2020 through Pure Noise Records.

Also on this tour is Youth Fountain, a duo in the Emo/Pop Punk genre, operates from Vancouver, B.C.
