Defy The Tyrants Unleash Their Long-Awaited Self-Titled Album:

A Brutal Masterpiece Years in the Making!

It’s finally here. After nearly four years of blood, sweat, and riffs, Defy The Tyrants are ready to drop their self-titled debut full-length album this Tuesday February 25th, and it’s nothing short of a triumph. This beast of a record is the band’s most ambitious project to date, and it’s one that’s been long in the making.

What started back in June 2021 as the opening track,“The Blackened Shores of Dreams”, intended for what would’ve been their third EP, quickly evolved into something much bigger. As the songs piled up, the band made the bold decision to go all in and transform this growing collection of tracks into their very first full-length album. It wasn’t easy, but the result is a ferocious, genre-defying album that perfectly captures the raw energy and creative vision of Defy The Tyrants.

After countless hours of grinding in the studio, the band now stands on the edge of something truly special. Their self-titled album “Defy The Tyrants” is the best material they’ve ever created. A true reflection of their journey, the band describes this album as a blend of everything from thunderous breakdowns, shredding solos to blast beats, and thrash-infused riffs, all while seamlessly incorporating atmospheric passages, synths, and electronic programming. It’s not just a metal album; it’s an experience. It’s a celebration of all the sounds the band has been obsessed with over the years, coming together to form the Defy The Tyrants sound.

With the addition of new member Jon Biong on bass, the band is ready to take on the next chapter of their career. Mixed and matered by Brandon Lobb, this album is a testament to their growth as musicians and songwriters, and they couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished. It’s a piece of their soul, a declaration of who they are as artists, and they’re beyond stoked to share it with the world.

Defy The Tyrants aren’t just a band, they are a force to recon with, and this album is their battle cry. So get ready, metalheads, this one’s about to hit hard.

The band says “This Is Who We Are and we are Defy The Tyrants.”... and they are here to stay!
